This learning important national centre of timber excellence for Waiariki Institute of Technology is intended as an Iconic building to reflect the importance of this facility. The building has been designed throughout to illustrate practical and innovative ways of using New Zealand’s sustainable forestry products, while reflecting Maori values and sound sustainable principles.

APR Architects and APR Consultants worked together to produce a feasibility study and concept designs for the revitalisation of Mansfeild Park, intended to resolve conflicts between present users and to add new amenities, facilities and attractions so as to improve the social and financial viability of the park.
