APR were the architects and engineers for this complete new school on a green fields site. Our brief required that the school blended in with the domestic scale and character of the surrounding residential area. We were also require to make all classrooms transportable, this challenged us to prepare a unique design so that access to classrooms was not dominated by steps and ramps. In addition we developed a design where access to all buildings was all weather with shaded play and central assembly area, plus easily controlled access to the road frontage.
