APR Consultants has a long history of working with Maori organisations from around the country. APR Consultants has always worked in a consultative, collaborative way with clients and this is especially so with Maori organisations. APR Consultants is aware that many of the issues facing Maori organisations, such as political, cultural and economic issues as well as issues raised by having to reconcile commercial versus cultural objectives, other organisations do not face, and we have experience of managing this through previous projects.
The aims of this aspect of the overall education strategy are to:
- Set educational achievement standards for Ngati Whakaue.
- Improve participation in Early Childhood Education by Ngati Whakaue.
- Develop an environment for Ngati Whakaue children to reach their full potential.
The latter two aims have a particular focus in early childhood education.
