APR Consultants was commissioned by the Northland Forestry Development Group through Enterprise Northland, to undertake an assessment of current forest industries training delivered in the Northland Region of New Zealand.

The main aim of this research was to establish people's approval of forest industries training offered in Northland. A range of stakeholders including forest industry employers, training providers, employees and trainees were interviewed to ascertain their level of satisfaction with the forest industries training currently being provided in the region.
