This report was prepared for Tourism Rotorua to assess the economic contribution of tourism to Rotorua District. The objectives of the research were:
- To assess the economic contribution of tourism to the Rotorua District economy;
- To determine the characteristics of the tourism industry in Rotorua, including employment, international and domestic visitor activity; and
- To provide forecasts of visitor activity in Rotorua.
